La Residence Blanc D'Angkor

LikedBed was super comfy, bathroom was large and the balcony was a nice touch. Upon arrival we were greeted with drinks and an easy check in process. Location was a 25 min walk away from any 7 elevens, and the prices for water and drinks at the hotel were overpriced. Was nice to be away from the Hussle and Bussle and there is a restaurant a few meters down the road or you can eat at the hotel. Breakfast was good but better to get in early if you want options for all that they offer. Pool was good. Tuk Tuk drivers out the front for easy access to the center.

DislikedOne of the deciding factors was the pool bar from the photos which unfortunately is no longer there.

LikedNot too far from tourist attractions, tuk tuk available when needed, transfers organized to and from airport on request as well as trips. Receptionists had a good understanding of English. Pool was Excellent laundry service organized back within hours

DislikedFood had a limited basic menu, ( No dessert available) though adequate and 7/11 600m away.. All other employees had a limited understanding of English. Pool could have done with some more sun beds, clothing and pool towels became stained with the red dust in the surrounding areas.Every one in Cambodia wants unflawed US dollars!!!

LikedThe hotel is so nice, lovely pool, peaceful and calm staff. Very helpful with any requests.

DislikedIt’s slightly out of the main town but easy to get there in a tuktuk.
